Keto Rolls

Low carbohydrate diets exclude grain breads and sugars. I find it hard to live without bread. Lunch of just a simple salad just does not cut it for me. It leaves me feeling like I have missed out. I love a sandwich that get me through the afternoon or a juicy hamburger loaded with fried onions and salad.
Here is a bread that tastes great, has a traditional bread texture and is extremely low in carbs. Now you do not have to miss out on bread when you start on a ketogenic diet.
I prefer to use all whole nuts and seeds and freshly grid myself. Whole nuts and seeds keep well in the cupboard where as ground nuts and seeds will oxidise in just a week or two. The healthy oils will easily become rancid and inedible.
Psyllium Husks are a great fibre, but beware that the whole husks can be harsh in the gut as they are indigestible and pass through your body. Always grid then to a finer texture so they are gentle on your body.
Eggs are a great source of protein and nutrients and in cooking are often used as just the white to the yolk. Never throw out the portion of the egg you do not use. In this recipe we have a 6Â of egg yolks left over. I will use these to make recipes such as a Rich Cesare Salad (I use these Keto Rolls for the Keto Croutons). Try making some creamy mayonnaise or Hollandaise Sauce. Even try a lemon curd.
